Connecting to an IPv6 address using IPv4 IPv6 is a new version of the Internet protocol (IP). At present, IPv6 is used primarily by some research institutions. Most computers do not need to set up or use IPv6. IPv6 provides more IP address space for Internet users than the current standard, IPv4. I'm running IPv6 on my home network using a HE.net tunnel on pfSense 2.1. Having a weird issue with connections to Google sites from Firefox on one client PC (OS X 10.9). If I disable IPv6 everything works correctly. All other client machines (Windows, Mac, Linux) on my network have no issues.
